How Does the E·Z Breathe® Work?
When water becomes moisture laden, damp and humid it becomes heavier than the dryer air. When this happens it moves to the lowest spot in your home, usually this is your basement. The basement is part of the inside of a building as a whole. If there is high humidity and musty odors downstairs, it will affect the upstairs environment.

This moisture sits in your basement promoting the growth of mold and condensing on windows and other surfaces. The E·Z Breathe® solves this problem by removing the damp air from your basement which in turn fosters a dry basement year round. This dry air helps to prevent the growth of mold and may improve the performance and lower the energy cost of your heating and air-conditioning systems. This is becasue the dry air is easier to heat and cool.

The E·Z Breathe® works by expelling the damp, coldest air from your dwelling to the outside through a small vent similar to a dryer. The system looses very little heat from your home because it eliminates only the damp cold air at the lowest level of your home (the basement). Because damp air is harder to heat and cool than a dry air, it's more economical to replace that damp air with dry air. Once the E·Z Breathe® has eliminated the damp air by blowing it outside, the air is replaced by dry air from the higher levels of your house. Once the E·Z Breathe®'s sensors tell it that the area has reached the proper humidiy level it then runs at a very low fan speed exhausting a minimal amount of air and maintaining a positive air pressure, keeping your house dryer and more pleasant smelling.
